The Newcastle Cycling Club would really appreciate your support to help promote this event to your members.

The Dungog Pedalfest is in its second year and is a great new addition to the cycling calendar. It has a host of riding activities that include social rides or racing events. This year the Travellers Trophy is using the event as a part of their series which will boost numbers and add to the competitive aspect of the weekend.

The Travellers Trophy is a Combined Clubs Point Score consisting of 9 races held over 5 months and hosted by the Central Coast, Hunter District, Tamworth, Manning Valley and Newcastle Cycling Clubs.

Set on Dungogs main street this years Saturday afternoon Crit is going to be fun, fast and will have plenty of atmosphere. Graded racing with great prizes. Post Race Presentation will be held at the Tineshed Brewery who serve burgers & beers at their best.

There will be a pre-race warm up social ride leaving the Tinshed Brewery at 1:30pm. Everyone is invited.

This year for the Combined Clubs Point Score Series we are incorporating the Bingleburra east face course. It consists of a long flat section along Sugarloaf Road followed by a staggered climb to the peak of Bingleburra before a good decent back to the start for a finish or turn around.
A/B Grade: 3 x laps = 60k
C Grade: 2 x laps = 42km
D/E Grade: 1 x laps = 22km

Roll-out from the Tinshed Brewery from 9am. Registration desk open from 8am.

Sunday's Bingleburra Challenge is for anyone who is up for a good cycling challenge. There is a Full Sportif Course or a Half Sportif Course. With all riders starting in Dungog and heading along Sugaroaf Road before ascending Bingleburra east. At the peak the Half Sportif will turn around and descend back to Dungog. The Full Sportif Course will head over Bingleburra peak. The decent is steep and will take riders out along the beautiful country roads to Gresford East before turning around and heading back up the western face of Bingleburra and back to Dungog. Riders will certainly earn themselves a post ride burger & beer.

Tag in your mates and let them know now about this weekend of cycling.

$1500 worth of prizes.
