- This is only a short climb, after the descent down McCarrs Creek Rd, you turn up this hill on the way to Akuna Bay. While it is possible to turn right and continue towards West Head, this is listed as a separate climb as it is longer.
There is an initial steeper section before the slope eases back slightly as you pass the toll booth. After that it is a steady gradient until the top before it kicks up slightly for the sprint to the KOM.
